Acceptable Use

Users of findaJP.com, JPus.org and JPus.Training may not use our services to engage in or facilitate hateful activities, whether online or offline. We define hateful activities as those that incite or engage in violence, intimidation, harassment, threats, or defamation targeting an individual or group based on their actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, immigration status, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.

Members of the Justice of the Peace Association agree to abide by our Code of Ethics. Acts of discrimination by omission or commission toward any individual or group based on their actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, immigration status, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability constitute a violation of the Code of Ethics. Other infractions of the Standards of Conduct, as outlined in the Code of Ethics, are also considered a violation of the organization’s Acceptable Use policy.

Enforcement

Violations to the Acceptable Use policy (above), including the Code of Ethics, will be monitored using a combination of technology, staffing, user flagging and responses to flaggers. The Justice of the Peace Association reserves the right to refuse or cancel a membership based on a violation. A user who violated the Acceptable Use policy may still participate in training opportunities on JPus.Training. The organization’s managing member maintains ultimate authority to address hateful activity and violations to the Code of Ethics. The organization will maintain a record of such violations.
